DESCRIPTION:
Unsigned painted dial tall case clock, 8 day time and strike weight driven movement in mahogany and mahogany veneer case with carved crest and dial picturing Lady of the Lake in the arch and Four Seasons in the corners, with date dial at 6 o'clock and second's bit at 12 o'clock, c1800
CONDITION:
the case retains most of its original finish nicely rubbed down and cleaned. The top crest has been replaced and there is a split above the door and another in the base and some minor splitting in parts of the veneer. The dial is in excellent condition with some minor touch ups. The old painted pendulum bob may be a replacement. Ht 91"
